What is aluminium cladding?
Aluminium cladding is a formed metal jacket fitted over external insulation to protect it from weather, UV and physical damage. Contractors specify it on rooftop and external pipework, ductwork, tanks and vessels where a durable finish is required. We fabricate and install it nationwide to project specification.
The work in detail
The work covers measuring, cutting and forming aluminium sheet over insulated pipework, ductwork, tanks and vessels. Bends, tees, valves and end caps are fabricated to match, and joints are lapped and sealed to shed water.
Cladding is formed from plain or stucco-embossed aluminium sheet with matching fabricated fittings. Grade and gauge follow the project specification, and the insulation underneath is installed or repaired first.
Installation follows the project specification and TICA guidance. Where insulation is part of the same package we fit it first, so the cladding protects a complete thermal system.
Quotations cover cladding over insulated services. If the underlying insulation is missing or damaged we itemise its supply separately — cladding is never fitted over failed insulation without that being flagged.
We price from M&E drawings, schedules and specifications, or from a free site survey on existing installations. There is no fixed online pricing.

- The project specification and TICA guidance. Operatives hold CSCS and NVQ Thermal Insulation qualifications, with IPAF and PASMA for access.

- Sheet and fittings are ordered against your programme after acceptance. We confirm delivery and start dates at order stage.
- Can you take over part-finished cladding work?
- Yes. We survey what is fitted, check the underlying insulation and complete the remaining sections to specification.
- How is cladding quoted?
- From your drawings, schedules and specification, or from a free survey. Repairs to the insulation beneath are itemised separately so nothing is hidden.
- Can you work out of hours or in phases?
- Yes. External and rooftop work is often phased around weather, access and other trades, and we plan that into the programme.
